  1. Are you a fiduciary?

Established as part of the Investment Advisors Act of 1940, the fiduciary standard states that an advisor must put their clients' interest above their own. As a Certified Financial Planner®, we have a legal and ethical obligation to always act in our clients' best interest.

  1. What are my all-in costs?

Your all-in costs will depend on the scope of the services you require. We will be transparent and upfront about any fees and expenses you may incur.

  1. What are your qualifications?

Some of us hold the Certified Financial Planner© (CFP) designation, which is considered by many as the highest standard in the financial planning industry. We also hold several other professional designations. These include the Accredited Investment Fiduciary© designation in addition to the Certified Private Wealth Advisor© designation.

  1. How will our relationship work?

Our relationship will be a collaborative partnership. We will work with you to understand and clarify your financial goals, develop a customized plan, and regularly review and adjust it as needed. We typically do not establish limits on how frequent we review and always make ourselves available for questions or to meet.

  1. What's your investment philosophy?

Our investment philosophy typically combines active and passive investing strategies and is based around your individual goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon. We believe in building well-diversified portfolios that includes a mix of stocks, bonds, and other asset classes.

  1. What asset allocation will you use?

The asset allocation we recommend will depend on your unique financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance. We will work with you to determine the appropriate mix of investments that aligns with your goals and values.

  1. What investment benchmarks do you use?

We use a variety of benchmarks, including market indices and other relevant measures, to evaluate the performance of your portfolio and ensure that we are on track to meet your goals.

  1. Who is your custodian?

We work with several large, reputable custodians, such as Fidelity, Schwab, Pershing and TD Ameritrade, to hold and safeguard your investments. These custodians have robust security measures in place to protect your assets.

  1. What tax hit do I face if I invest with you?

The tax impact of your investments will depend on several factors, such as your tax bracket, the type of account you hold, and the timing of your transactions. We will work with you to minimize taxes, spreading gains out over several years if needed and engage in tax loss harvesting when appropriate.
